The Company

1999

The Company was founded in Batumi, Georgia as the offspring of extensive marine experience held by its founders.
 

2002

QS moved to new offices at the heart of the city and close to the port of Batumi.

2005

Certified with ISO-9001 for the first time.

2013

QS obtained for the first time an Attestation of Compliance with the Bureau Verita’s “Standard for Quality Management System of Seafarer Manning Offices” and with the Regulation 1.4 of the Maritime Labor Convention (MLC) on voluntary basis and a Recognition Certificate of Crewing Company for provision of recruitment and placement services in ship crew manning.

2017

Honored by the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, with a Certificate of Appreciation for the Exceptional Records on Georgian Seafarers Employment and for Developing Outstanding Crewing Services during the celebrations of the Day of the Seafarer.

2018

IMO Awards – “Certificate of Commendation” following the nomination from governments of Malta, Singapore and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for the IMO Bravery Award 2018. The Queensway Services’ Master and crew of the bitumen tanker SEAPOWER presented with a Certificate of Commendation from the IMO Secretary General, Mr. Kitack Lim, for their exemplary international effort, courage and tenacity displayed in the coordinated operation to rescue 13 crew members of the tanker MT RAMA 2, off Oman, in very adverse weather and sea conditions.

During the International Maritime Exhibition POSIDONIA in Athens, Queensway Services was present on the national stand of Georgia.
